First aid: Pain in the neck

Can't turn your head in the morning when you wake up? Did you spend a lot of time traveling, or you have a sedentary profession and you often feel pain behind your neck? We present you several exercise tutorials which might help you from acute pain.

Common manifestation of the problem with the spine is pain behind the neck. Acute blockage of the cervical spine is the most frequent problem. Blocked spine is by everyone manifesting differently, and everyone might feel the pain on the neck in different spots. It is therefore ideal to stretch the muscles of the skull, shoulders as well as thoracic spine.

Thanks to this easy and effective exercise you will relax your neck muscles, trapezius and shoulder blade muscles. Exercise is effective for example against migraines or unpleasant headaches. This exercise can help you from acute pain, but it's also great as a prevention against blocked cervical spine.

Concept of this exercise comes from a physiotherapeutic method McKenzie. This method is effective against back pains, when the intervertebral discs are damaged, pain in the cervical spine , tingling in typical neurological involvement and other cases. Thanks to this exercise the pain intensity is lowered, the nerve irritation is transferred from the limbs towards the spine and there is also an increase in the movement range.
