Relaxing the lower back - cradle on the overball

This exercise is ideal for people who suffer problems in the lower back area, sacroiliac joints and hips


Goal of the exercise:

  • Relaxing the lower back
  • Relaxing the sacroiliac joint
  • Relaxing the hips joints
Default position
  • Lay on your back
  • Bend your knees
  • Place the overball below your tailbone
Phase 1
  • Hold your knees and slowly pull them towards your thorax
Phase 2
  • Modification of this exercise is circling or rotating the legs towards the sides

Common mistakes

  • The legs are not relaxed
  • Enormously bending in the lower back
  • The legs are not close to each other
  • Moving to fast
  • Exercise is not performed in the full movement range
  • Bending the head
  • Stiff arms in the shoulder area

How often to exercise

  • You can exercise daily approximately 5 times on each side
